Purchase Policy
All sales of taxidermy items and bespoke pieces are final. Due to the nature of taxidermy and taxidermy-related items, Strong Taxidermy does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds under any circumstances. Each piece is unique and handled with care to ensure quality and accuracy before sale. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please send us an email.
Upon purchase, clients will receive access to a detailed Taxidermy Care Guide, which you may review at this link before any purchase. This care guide outlines best practices for the long-term preservation of their specimen. Proper care is essential to maintaining the longevity of taxidermy.
By completing a purchase, the client acknowledges responsibility for following the care guidelines provided. Strong Taxidermy is not responsible for damage resulting from improper care, environmental conditions, pest exposure, or general neglect.
If restoration, cleaning, or pest treatment becomes necessary due to failure to follow the provided care instructions, such services will be billed at Strong Taxidermy’s hourly rate, in addition to any required materials.
Shipping Taxidermy and Bespoke Items
A $100 flat crating fee applies to all shipped taxidermy items, with an additional $100 flat shipping fee, which is added at checkout.
A $20 flat shipping fee is added to all “Field Notes” shipped products, which is added at checkout.
Orders for taxidermy and taxidermy-related products will ship between 5-7 business days. If you would like updates on your shipping status or would like to request a tracking number, please reach out via email. Merch items are made to order and handled via a third party - order confirmation and shipping information will be automatically emailed to you upon purchase.
Once your piece has left our studio, the delivery courier is responsible for your package. Strong Taxidermy cannot be held liable for lost, broken, or stolen packages. You may visit the delivery courier's website to review lost package claims. If you are interested in having your package insured before delivery, please reach out for further questions.
Local Delivery & Pick-Up (Los Angeles Area)
Free pick-up available in Alhambra, Los Angeles, CA.
$100 flat fee for drop-off within Los Angeles County.
Installation is available upon request and billed at an hourly or daily rate, depending on the type of display, duration of the install, and location.
Drop-offs outside of Los Angeles County are available with additional transportation fees.
